  1. Thank you, Mr. Torlkason. It is great to know that adult education is a part of the state’s mission statement as it should be. Thank you for taking the time to take a stand and acting on it by sending this letter throughout our state.
I serve my immediate community as an adult educator and I treasure my position and opportunity. It gives me that chance to deomonstrate how I value each and every one of us. I believe the work that I do with my students has far reaching implications, both globally and into the future. We will be judged by the actions we take. The actions we take create the world that we live in. Either we care or we don’t. let us care for one another. Thank you.

  2. Excellent.

  3. Put my three dots and begged another three from friend for adult ed at that recent meeting. Harter said votes looked to be even for all programs. He didn’t count. Why? This whole public process is Delphi Technique, a massive deceit used to undermine democratic process and true public participation. google it. Pays to be educated.
Item: Heard from grapevine (teacher) at recent meeting Harter asked teachers ‘how would you like to be cut?’ One answered “How about administration?” Is that accurate? I wasn’t there. At any rate, that’s direct result of my research showing Harter’s pay at over $400k. Check Mercury News for pages of WCCUSD salaries over $100k for essentially clerical jobs. Gather your ammunition. The fight is far from over.
